Is the swimming pool heated all year round?
Yes. It is heated continuously and held at approximately 29°C all year round, so it is ready to swim in whenever you arrive.
Is there an extra charge for the heating?
No. Heating is included in the rental — there is no separate supplement to switch it on and no need to request it in advance.
Is the pool shared with anyone else?
No. The water, terraces and grounds are reserved exclusively for your booking group. The apartment and chalet are never let separately to other guests.
How deep is the pool and is it suitable for children?
It measures 10 metres long by 4 metres wide, with a depth of 1.20m at the entry steps rising to 1.30m at the opposite end. Younger children should be supervised in the water, and an electric safety cover closes it whenever it is not in use. Cots, high chairs and baby monitors are available on request.
Is there shade on the terrace?
Yes. There are both open areas and shaded seating, so groups can spread out rather than competing for the same spot.

Absolutely amazing Villa! From the booking to the arrival, stay and departure, everything was perfect.
The villa had everything we could have wished for and more.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this time-honoured, secluded mountain villa from the moment we arrived. the kind hosts explained everything very thoroughly. Children enjoyed the heated 29C outdoor swimming pool, outdoor swings, table tennis, and playgrounds. There are all the tools for cooking, washing. TVs in all rooms, and downstairs there is a whole entertainment zone for parties!!!
Birthday celebrations We had a fantastic stay at Villa Monaco. The location is simply stunning. The views need to be seen to be believed. The drive up to the villa is great fun up a mountain road, we took Tonys advice and we all had hire cars. We did use Taxis one night and they found the property easily. The house itself is lovely, well stocked throughout and was spotless on arrival. There are amenities everywhere and the kids absolutely loved it. The outside area is a beautiful space to play, eat, drink and socialise and the Sonos equipment is a nice tough. Big kudos to Tony whos communication leaving up to the visit was perfect. Always on time with answers and always there for recommendations. Other comments: - go to Teide, even if its just for a drive the scenery is breathtaking - Siam park is brilliant, but invest in all inclusive or fast pass. The queues are big in summer and we queue jumped everything - Los Gigantes is worth a trip for dinner. Nice little port, but the cliffs opposite are like something from Game of Thrones My only negative (and its a small one). The pool is kept at 28 degrees. Maybe a touch warm on the really hot days. But can see how it would be perfect in autumn/winter months. Overall 5 stars. Will definitely try and return! :)
